We welcome you to the foothills of the Cumberland Mountains to enjoy the breathtaking natural beauty of the hills and the romantic and majestic 900 acre Wood Creek Lake in London, KY upon which the 4-acre Bear & Boar lakeside bed and breakfast resides. We are open for business all year round. We currently have the following lodging accomodations available: a limited number of bedroom suites, sleeper sofas, bunkouse lodging, and primitive camping. Bathroom and shower facilites are available in the Main House 24/7. A Continental Breakfast is available daily with outdoor seating on the multiple decks and balconies (some with beautiful views overlooking the lake).

Walk along the shore of the lake or bring a fishing pole and fish from the bank or our private dock. Bring your own boat or pontoon, or rent one from a local boating business who will deliver it to the Wood Creek Boat Dock for you which is a short distance from the Bear & Boar. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the natural splendor and get back in contact with your inner self. Leave the stresses of life behind and free yourself. We have some awe inspiring sunsets and dawns here. Wood Creek Lake is a well known fishing lake and the cove in front of the resort is a prime fishing area.

You may see a herd of white tail deer. They have been sighted here several times by individuals. A guest has also observed our national bird, the Bald Eagle, flying over the lake from our second floor balcony. Other wildlife seen on the resort have been a wildcat, several bird species, squirrels, wood turles, mallard ducks, and Canadian geese. Several other wildlife species are known to live in this area including other birds of prey like the osprey and redtailed hawk. Maybe you will be the first guest to spot them!
